Silly String

Filed under: work — Martin @ 7:05 pm

Silly string is a small experiment built in processing to explore creativity through limited interactivity. The applet reacts to the users input through mouse movement and direction, reacting differently and almost unpredictably, challenging the user to learn and adapt to the tool’s idiosyncrasies.

Obviously Silly String is a curiosity rather than a serious drawing tool, but its an area that I want to explore more at some point.

Filed under: video, work — Martin @ 10:19 pm

Hi, this is another post on my site, I’m currently designing it, I should probably put up blank holding page or something in the meantime, but I just haven’t been bothered to.

I’m currently listening to Modest Mouse – Everywhere and His Nasty Parlour Tricks its an excellent album.

Thanks to the people that are commenting on my site, despite it clearly not being ready, its encouraging.

Hmm, i may have to write some more here…

This text will appear on the left hand side in a big column. Normally a big picture would at the top. Then you’d carry on with the rest of the article.

Here’s a sub heading

“scrambled it to make a type specimen book”

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
